Fleadh Cheoil na Mumhan will be held in Kenmare from July 13 - 21 2008. The Munster Fleadh Cheoil has something for everybody

An integral part of Fleadh na Mumhan each year is Scoil Fonn agus Amhráin providing tuition in slow-air playing and traditional singing to scholarship winners from the six counties of Munster
The Slide and Polka Workshops is also a hugely popular part of the Fleadh programme. This year's tutor will be Anne McAuliffe. This workshop is open to any interested participants

A number of special concerts will take place during the Fleadh week - the highlight which will almost certainly be a very special concert featuring the music and musicians of the Beara Penninsula

Fans of set and ceili dancing will not be dissapointed. Along with ceilithe over the Fleadh weekend in the Kenmare Bay Hotel, the senior and junior set-dancing competitions also promise top quality dancing

The pubs of Kenmare will be filled with the sound of Irish music over the weekend. A session trail featuring a host of top-class musicians will be arranged throughout the town. Don't worry we also leave some places free for those of you who wish to start up your own impromptu sessions
